Burkson Montague-Alamin, President:
Burke took over Aletheas after learning about its vital lessons. Tied with his love of classics and philosophy he is excited to begin teaching new lessons in stride. He believes that philosophy and classics ask fascinating questions about our society and what it means to be human. Exposing children to big questions can give them a window into these subjects and open the door to what it means to experience life itself. He hopes that with this course kids from all different backgrounds and places can come together and learn not only about the great ancient classics and philosophy but also about themselves – preparing them for our ever changing world.
Joshua Pfistner, Vice-President:
Joshua Pfistner joined the Aletheas team to reengage his love of classics and history and to hopefully help younger students find or reignite their own love for these topics. An adventurer in many ways, he is excited to teach new kids and inspire a new age of classics lovers. He has always loved the great lessons to be learned from ancient history and hopes to teach our next generation these values that will set them on a path of success.
